Learn the most essential Spanish prepositions and how to use them correctly in everyday situations!
What Are Prepositions?
Prepositions are small words that show relationships between things:
- Location: The book is on the table
- Direction: I'm going to school
- Time: We eat at 7 PM
- Possession: The book of María
Important: Spanish prepositions don't always translate directly from English!

Spanish has only two contractions:
