Common Errors

❌ Overusing "Y" and "Pero"

Beginner writing: Me gusta leer y escribir y estudiar. Pero no tengo tiempo. Pero voy a intentarlo.

Better: Me gusta leer, escribir y estudiar. Sin embargo, no tengo tiempo. No obstante, voy a intentarlo.

❌ Wrong Connector Choice

❌ No tengo dinero. Además, no puedo ir. ✅ No tengo dinero. Por eso no puedo ir.

"Además" adds information; use "por eso" for result.

❌ Comma Splice Without Connector

❌ No estudió, suspendió. ✅ No estudió. Por lo tanto, suspendió. ✅ No estudió, por lo tanto suspendió.
