Wrong: ❌ Quiero ir al baño (sounds like you want to, not that you need to) Right: ✅ Necesito ir al baño (I need to go to the bathroom)
Use "necesitar" for actual needs!
❌ Mistake 3: Using "Quiero" in Formal Situations
Less polite: Quiero un café (I want a coffee) More polite: ✅ Quisiera un café, por favor (I would like a coffee, please)
Use polite forms in restaurants, shops, and formal settings!
❌ Mistake 4: Forgetting "Que" for Others' Actions
Wrong: ❌ Quiero tú ir (trying to say "I want you to go") Better: ✅ Quiero que vayas (I want you to go - subjunctive) Or simpler: ✅ ¿Puedes ir? (Can you go?)
At beginner level, use questions or commands instead!
