Translation: Ana: What did you think of the movie? Luis: I loved it. I think it's excellent. And you? Ana: I also liked it, but I don't totally agree. For me, the ending was a bit confusing. Luis: Really? It seemed perfect to me. Ana: Well, everyone has their opinion. Luis: You're right. The important thing is that we enjoyed it.

Dialogue 2: Making a Decision

Pedro: ¿Qué piensas? ¿Vamos al restaurante italiano? Sofia: No sé. No estoy muy segura. Es un poco caro. Pedro: Sí, tienes razón, pero la comida es muy buena. Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Mistake 1: Literal Translation of "I Agree"

Wrong: ❌ Yo acuerdo (literal translation) Right: ✅ Estoy de acuerdo (I agree)

The verb is "estar de acuerdo," not just "acordar"!

❌ Mistake 2: Forgetting "Que" After Opinion Verbs

Wrong: ❌ Creo es bueno Right: ✅ Creo que es bueno (I think it's good)

Always include "que" after creo, pienso, opino!

❌ Mistake 3: Being Too Direct

Too direct: No tienes razón (You're not right) More polite: ✅ No estoy de acuerdo (I don't agree)

Use "no estoy de acuerdo" for polite disagreement!

❌ Mistake 4: Wrong Word Order

"También" usually comes after the subject!
