Stating There's a Problem

Hay un problema. (There's a problem.) Tengo un problema. (I have a problem.) Tenemos un inconveniente. (We have an issue.) Algo anda mal. (Something's wrong.) Algo no funciona bien. (Something's not working right.)

Describing the Problem

El problema es que... (The problem is that...) La dificultad es... (The difficulty is...) Lo que pasa es que... (What's happening is that...) El inconveniente es... (The issue is...)

El problema es que no tengo tiempo. (The problem is that I don't have time.)

Things Not Working

No funciona. (It doesn't work.) Está roto. (It's broken.) Se descompuso. (It broke down.) No enciende. (It doesn't turn on.) No arranca. (It doesn't start.) No responde. (It's not responding.)

Severity

Es un problema grave. (It's a serious problem.) Es urgente. (It's urgent.) No es tan grave. (It's not that serious.) Es algo menor. (It's something minor.) No es nada serio. (It's nothing serious.)

Causes

El problema se debe a... (The problem is due to...) La causa es... (The cause is...) Se debe a que... (It's due to the fact that...) El motivo es... (The reason is...)

Technical Problems

Proposing Solutions

Offering Help

Asking for Solutions

Trying Solutions

When Solution Works

When Solution Doesn't Work

Asking for Professional Help

Temporary vs Permanent
